One of Utah’s ‘Mighty 5′ National parks, Arches National Park is stunning. The nearest town is Moab, UT, king of extreme outdoor recreation. We camped in nearby Dead Horse Point State Park because the campgrounds in Arches were booked, and drove into the National Park for day trips. The camp sites in the National Park are also on the smaller side which would have made fitting the 35’ motorhome in tough. The area around Arches has tons of public land if you can endure the high temperatures in the summer without electricity. There are a lot of hikes spread throughout the park. We had a day to visit, but we could have two or three.
