We had two weeks booked in Zion National Park. Bryce Canyon has nice first-come, first-serve camping so we drove up from Zion for a two day stay. There is a useful enough ‘park town’ outside the gate with plenty of so-so food and lodging, We made use of the laundromat. It was a lot of hiking packed into two days. We could have used more time. The Hoodoo formations are incredible both from a distance or up close. The overlooks are easy to visit, but there are lots of great strenuous hikes the weave through the formations. We had time for one long hike. Being early(ish) in the season (June), the temperatures were on the cool side which was great for hiking.
