We would have loved to have camped in Capitol Reef National Park but we arrived a couple of hours too late to get a first come, first serve spot. The camp host gave us a place to park the RV for the day and we ebiked around the park. That night we picked a spot just outside of the park in the expanse of public lands on BLM Notum-Bullfrog that were set aside for dispersed camping. We camped all alone without a sole in sight for ten miles as massive storms rolled in a shook the coach so hard we felt compelled to retract the slides. Awesome experience. The park has lots of great hikes into, on, and around the cool terrain.
